Please join us on Wednesday, September 20th at 11:30 a.m, Whitehall Library for a free seminar on how to help a grieving child.
Often times, when a beloved person in a child’s life dies, or they have received terminal news we struggle to find the words to talk about the death or pending death to our children. We feel as though we may “make a mistake” so we dance around the topic or we just don’t say anything at all. These conversations are extremely difficult and often bring up many fears and feelings. Through this workshop we will explore the grieving patterns of our young ones and provide conversation starters and the words that we struggle to find in our times of grief.
Erin Troup, LPC, NCC, CT will guide the workshop through open and supportive conversation as well as tangible information. Erin is a Licensed Professional counselor with a specialty in Early childhood and grief issues.
