A Celebration of Life is a non-traditional service, your way. It honors and reflects the character and personality of your loved one.
Our celebrants are trained and certified to meet the needs of your family during your time of loss. Your celebrant wants to help you design the most memorable and meaningful service for your loved one. Each Celebration of Life service is unique and personal.
Why have a Celebrant?
- A celebrant offers an alternative for those families not affiliated with a church or who do not wish to have a traditional religious funeral service.
- Celebrants are specifically trained to design a service that is personally meaningful, incorporating stories, music, and experiences that defined your loved one.
- Certified celebrants have a library of resources available for readings, music, video tributes, and other personal touches.
- Celebrants will be “your voice” at the service.
How do I work with a Celebrant?
Your funeral director will schedule a meeting for you and your family to meet with one of our celebrants. We suggest that this meeting take place separately from your arrangement conference. We encourage you to share memories, anecdotes and special moments in your loved one’s life. The essence of the service will be based upon the remembrances of the family. We invite you to be actively engaged in creating your loved one’s service.
An important part of the healing process.
Whether you have a traditional funeral or a Celebration of Life, a ceremony is an important part of the healing process. It is a special time for friends and relatives to gather, pay tribute, and share memories after someone they love has passed on. We hope you will consider the benefits of a Celebration of Life ceremony. Whether you would like to pre-plan your own Celebration of Life and record your wishes, or will be preparing a service at a time of need, our trained celebrants will be able to assist you in personalizing a Celebration of Life service that will be unique and meaningful to you and your family.
