Grief is sailing alone on an open sea. You start in a volatile storm, unsure if you will ever see sky or land while waves and lightening crash around you. Over time, the water may calm, the sun may shine, but not every day is a day to raise the sails.
Anyone who experienced losing a loved one- be it a family member, a dear friend, or a lifelong partner- knows milestones can crash waves of grief over your journey and make you feel as if you’re back at the first day. For so many, milestones are simple days. A Saturday morning brunch tradition or when the leaves change colors. Milestones are also held in holidays, after all, people are what make holidays memorable.
This year, instead of trying to ride out the storm by yourself, take harbor at our Valentine’s Day event, “A Luncheon for your Grieving Heart” All are welcome who are experiencing grief and loss. No matter where you are in your grief journey, we encourage you to join us in camaraderie and a nice meal.
The weather may be cold, the skies may be grey, but we will ride out the storm with you. Click here for more information and details on how to reserve your spot.
