Obituary For Aileen F. (Ries) Abbott

Age 99, on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, of Butler, formerly of Pittsburgh.

Beloved wife of the late John C. Abbott; loving mother of Kathleen M. (the late Jack) Patterson and Karen A. (Keith) Schoeneman. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Aileen was a 50 year service member of Eastern Star. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, December 22, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of her funeral service at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Good Samaritan Hospice, 146 Neely School Road, Wexford, PA 15090.
