John was raised in the Baldwin-Whitehall area. He graduated from the College of Wooster in 1975 and the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1976. John has been working at the funeral home since 1969 and become a licensed funeral director in 1977. He is a member of the Allegheny County Funeral Directors Association (ACFDA), the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA), Brentwood Business Owners Association, and Brentwood Baldwin Whitehall Chamber of Commerce. John and his wife, Paula, reside in Bethel Park and have three sons, John, Andrew, and Luke; three daughters-in-law, Tammy, Kim, and Adrianna; and 5 grandchildren.

Andrew grew up in Bethel Park. He graduated from Duquesne University and the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He has been with the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc. since 2008. He plays hockey in a local men’s league and is a member of the ACFDA and NFDA. Andrew and his wife, Kimberly, reside in Jefferson Hills, and have two children, Mason and Grace.

Jeff was born and raised in Brentwood. He is a 1989 graduate of Brentwood High School, a 1993 graduate of Point Park University, and a graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science with a degree in Mortuary Science. He has been a funeral director with the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc. since 1997 and is a member of the ACFDA and NFDA. Jeff and his wife, Kelly, reside in Whitehall with their three boys, J. Brady, Teagan, and Spencer.

A life-long resident of Baldwin, Jeff graduated from Baldwin High School in 1988. He attended CCAC-South and Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He has been a licensed funeral director since 1996 and has been with the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc. since 2001. Jeff has served his community as a life member of Baldwin Fire Company, serving as President for 15 years, and retiring after 22 years of service. He is also a member of the ACFDA, the NFDA, and currently serves on the Brentwood EMS Board of Directors.

Chris is a life-long resident of Brentwood and, in addition to graduating from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, earned a degree in Gerontology from California University of Pennsylvania. He has been with John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc. since 2004 and is a member of ACFDA and NFDA. Chris and his wife, Dawn, have four children, Alayna, C.J., Josh and Nathan.

Luke became a licensed funeral director in 2021. He graduated from Bethel Park High School, attended Point Park University and graduated from Pittsburgh Mortuary School and Point Park in 2020. Luke and his wife, Adrianna, reside in Baldwin with their daughter, Rowan, and three dogs.
