Age 83, of Belle Vernon, went to his home in Heaven on Friday, February 6, 2026. He left behind his wife Connie after 57 years of marriage; father of Amy (Keith) Mack; grandfather of his loving grandchildren, Derrick (Mackenzie) Mack and Kelsey Mack. Will also be missed by his two furry grand puppies, Ginger and Linx, whom he loved. Alan worked for PAT Transit for many years before retiring. He loved to play the lottery everyday and get his cup of coffee. Baseball, football and hockey were the favorite sports that he loved. He will me missed by all who knew him and will be watching over us from above, as always. Rest in peace with the angels. A special thanks to the OSPTA Hospice for keeping Al safe in his bed and for giving him tender loving care. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 2-8 p.m. A blessing service will be held on Friday at 2:30 p.m. Interment will take place Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Queen of Heaven Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. February 12, 2026 Contact Us to have your link and message added here.
