Husband of Deborah (Merkel); father of Michael (Marlene), Kenneth and Brian Wahlster; grandfather of Evan and Mitchell; also survived by three cousins. Bud was retired from Verizon after 29 years as a service technician. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, PA 15227, Monday from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, time to be announced.
