Obituary For Albert Sakach

October 8, 1929 - January 23, 2016

Sakach, Albert Age 86, on Saturday, January 23, 2016 of Baldwin Boro.

Beloved husband of 58 years to Sylvia (Gyure); beloved father of Lynn (Dan) Nizan, Lori Sakach and Darryl (Rose) Sakach; grandfather of Darryl (Bridgett), Lee, Jessie, Jill and Mikaela; brother of the late Frank, Alex, Joseph, John and Julius. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Al served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1951 to 1953 then taught in the Pittsburgh Public Schools from 1957 to 1992. He was an avid golfer and bowler. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood 15227, on Wednesday 2 - 8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Thursday morning at 10:00. Funeral service in Lebanon Presbyterian Church at 11:00 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to Lebanon Presbyterian Church, 2800 Old Elizabeth Road, West Mifflin, PA 15122.
