Obituary For Alberta A. Horn

March 29, 1937 - April 29, 2015

Horn, Alberta A. (Biega) "Birdie" Age 78, on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, of Baldwin Borough.

Beloved wife of Richard W. "Tyke" Horn for over 58 years; loving mother of Richard A. "Rick" (Kimberly) Horn and Victoria A. "Vickey" (Thomas) Goldie; grandmother of Natalie (Bill) Merola, Vanessa (Patrick) Roth and Stephen Goldie; great-grandmother of Valerie and Britney Merola; Birdie is survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Saturday from 6-8 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Monday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Albert the Great Church at 10:00 am.

    Uncle Tyke, Rickey and Vickey, Still can't believe I won't see Aunt "B" sitting at the table thru the back door.Her wave to come in, and her sweet smile! Loved growing up next door, seeing her scuffle across the driveway in her slippers calling "Betty"....She will be so missed, but with a pretty spectacular bunch of people where she is!
