Balestra, Alfred J. "Fred" Age 78, on Saturday, June 6, 2015, of Brentwood, formerly of Carnegie .

Loving husband of 38 years to Rosemarie H. (Kraus); beloved father of Cliff (Annette) Balestra; proud grandfather of Dean and Domenic; brother of Julia Paci, Oliver Balestra, Adeline Makar, Wayne Balestra and Raymond Balestra. Also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. Fred was happiest in the kitchen cooking, watching sports, and bragging about his grandchildren. THERE WILL BE NO VISITATION. Family and friends will be received at St. Wendelin Church from 9:30 until time of Memorial Mass at 10 am on Friday. At the family's request, please do not send flowers.
