Beloved wife of Fred Harnack; mother of Jamie and Jason; daughter of the late Margaret Baltzer Brunko and Howard and Delores Brunko of Surfside Beach, SC; dear daughter-in-law of Thelma I. Harnack of Pleasant Hills, PA; sister of Linda (Wayne) Boyd of Socastee, SC, and David (Trish) Brunko of Murrells Inlet, SC; cousin of Susan Brunko of Peters Township and Randy Brunko of North Strabane Township; aunt of Heather and Jeremy James, Ryan and Vanessa Boyd, Megan and Kyle Jacobson, Justin and Aubree Brunko, Christy, Andy and Danny Snyder, and Nick and C.J.Skok; niece of Wade Brunko; sister-in-law of Anne Harnack of Baldwin, Joyce and Robert Snyder of Hummelstown, PA and Janice and Rob Skok of Valparaiso, IN; great aunt of Hudson Jacobson, Phoenix Brunko, and Cora James. Amy is a graduate of Grove City College, an active member of Christ United Methodist Church and Boy Scout Troop 228. Amy loved her family, her friends, flowers, her extensive Santa Claus collection, Oliver, nature, and most importantly was so very proud of Jamie and Jason. She will be forever missed by everyone that she touched, especially her husband Fred. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc. 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services at Christ United Methodist Church on Friday, February 7, 2014, at 1 PM. Everyone please meet at church. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions in Amy's memory to Christ United Methodist Church, 44 Highland Road, Bethel Park, PA 15102.

Our hearts are so very heavy to have lost such a wonderful person. Aunt Amy has always been so kind and caring to us and we will miss her greatly. We will never be able to express how much the times we spent with Aunt Amy meant to us. We could not be more blessed to have known her and to have been welcomed into her family. I am shocked and oi sadden to hear iof Amy's passing. I knew her through our work with the Altar Guild at CUMC. Amy was always so willing to help when she could and she was so proud of her family.
