Obituary For Ana De La Cruz Jimenez

Age 63, on Sunday, July 30, 2023 of Whitehall, formerly of the Dominican Republic.

Mother of Maria Ramirez and Aura Ramirez; grandmother of Carlos Ramirez, Yamila Torrez, Melissa Ramirez, Yarissel Torres, Alba Luciano and Emmy Moscoso; great-grandmother of Malakih Ramirez (Chuco Chuco); daughter of Silvio De La Cruz and the late Ana Antonia Jimenez; sister of Alturo, Deyanira, Daniel, Leonardo, Elvis and Alberto. Also survived by her friends, Severin Yaovi, Betty, Lide, Josefina and Luis Rosario. Ana was a happy, loving and helpful person who always had a smile on her face. She will be remembered for her friendly disposition and as a good sister and wonderful mother. She was empathetic and patient above all else, and her calming personality had a way of turning anything negative into a positive outcome. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday, August 3, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. and Friday, August 4, 2023 from 2-8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held Friday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.

    Ana Silvia was a great person. She was simple, caring, loving and full of life. Always willing to help others without judgement or prejudice. She was humble and generous. I will always remember her smile and her contagious laughter. She will be missed. May she rest in peace.

    Everyone who knew Ana will comment on her smile and joyfullness. However I will also remember her as a very responsible person. She never failed to act responsibly and caritably toward those people around her even when she herself was having a hard time.
