Age 77, passed away peacefully at St. Clair Hospital on March 5, 2022. She was born on March 4, 1945 in Brownsville, PA to the late Andrew and Dorothy Benlock. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Phyllis Skovran. Andrea is survived by her brother Walter "Pete" Benlock and his wife Ruth, as well as five nieces and nephews and nine great-nieces and nephews. Andrea worked for St. Frances Hospital for 39 years until its closure and then three years for Mercy Hospital until her retirement. She will be remembered as a kind and caring person who worked hard all of her life and made friends easily. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, March 10 from 2 -4 and 6-8 p.m. at John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, 15227. Funeral service and interment will be held privately.
