Obituary For Angelo A. Cuda

June 28, 1931 - August 19, 2018

Cuda, Angelo A. Age 87, of Whitehall, surrounded by those he loved most, went home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, August 19, 2018.

Deeply devoted husband of 65 years to Elsie (Milliner); compassionate and supportive father to Gary and Francine; very dear friend of Zina Nagle; proud son of the late Anthony and Rosella Cuda; loving brother of the late Queen Pagano. Angelo was a life-long resident of the South Hills of Pittsburgh. He served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was the second of three generations to own and operate Prosperity Cleaners. Following an extremely successful career, he enjoyed more than 25 years of engaging retirement. While having a variety of interests, hobbies and activities, his primary focus was always family. Their happiness, comfort and security was where he found fulfillment. Humble, but proud, compassionate, but loving, he led a faith-inspired life.

Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Thursday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sylvester Church at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 600 Waterfront Dr #210, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 or Shriners Hospitals for Children, 1877 Shriners Way, Cheswick, PA 15024.
