Cafaro, Dr. Angelo M., passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022, of Pleasant Hills. Son of the late Rosario (Ross) and Stella (Rubano) Cafaro; beloved husband of Constance Lee and father of Mark A. and David M. Cafaro; brother of Dr. Ross P. Cafaro, Rosella (Ed) Cassidy, Stella Christine, Joseph and John (Katie) and brother of the late Dr. Victor Paul and Dr. Frank Ross, Sara Helen Graf and Mary Louise Kessler. Dr. Angelo was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and practiced dentistry in Mt. Washington for fifty years. He was the personal dentist for Cardinal John Wright and Cardinal Donald Wuerl, an active member of St. Thomas A' Becket Church, Jefferson Hills, and served on the church building committee. Angelo proudly served as a dental officer in the US Army from 1954-1956. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday, November 14, 2022 from 3-8 p.m.. Funeral prayer on Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas A' Becket Church at 10:00. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum.
