Obituary For Anita (Franchini) Renk

Age 84, on Thursday, December 28, 2023, of Pleasant Hills, formerly of Baldwin.

Beloved wife of over 50 years to the late Joseph B. Renk; loving mother of Joseph B. III (Linda) Renk and the late Veralyn Batey; proud "Dana" of Dan (Lauren) Kiefer, Darla (Ken) Robinson, Trevor (Morgan) Batey and Austin and Ashley Renk; great "Dana" of Juliana, Joseph, Jack and Danilo; sister of the late Sylvia (Leo) Barth; aunt of Denise McKee. Anita volunteered for Carrick Meals on Wheels and was a part-time waitress at the Duquesne Club for 25 years. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 2-4 p.m. A blessing service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 862, Carnegie, PA 15106.
