Obituary For Anna Mae "Honey" Hoyson

Age 85, on Monday, October 6, 2025, of Bethel Park.

Beloved wife of the late Robert Gildea and the late Andrew Hoyson; mother of the late Anna Mae "Candy" (Robert) Leach and Patrick Gildea; stepmother of Robert (Bonita) Gildea; grandmother of Mandy Leach; great-grandmother of Finn; sister of Jane North, Jack Patterson and the late Virginia Henderson, Bill Patterson, Harry Patterson, Ida Loveland and Bobby McCune. Also survived by many extended family members and loving friends. Honey owned and operated Honey's Beauty Shop in Brookline for more than 30 years. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday, October 13, 2025 from 2-7 p.m. where a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions to help offset expenses c/o the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc.
