Allalunis, Anne (Bernatonis)

Anne Allalunis passed away on June 7, 2016. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Simon. She is survived by four children, Joan (Bob), Robert, Diane and Regina (Samuel), nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Anne was devoted to her family and friends. She loved music and was a proud graduate of Mount Mercy College (now Carlow College), where she attended on a piano scholarship. She was also proud of her work as a teacher. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Friday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sylvester Church at 10:00 am.

    I have so many wonderful memories of Mrs. Allalunis. She taught me how to make the best tassies in the world, how to make beautiful pine cone wreathes and shared with me one of her beautiful Lithuanian dresses so I could perform in style at the Civic Arena. She was a very kind and generous woman. May she rest in Godâ??s peace. My sincere condolences to the entire family, especially Diane. You are in my prayers. Mary Bailey
