Obituary For Antoinette "Toni" Switala

February 18,1941 - January 23, 2016

Switala, Antoinette "Toni" (Karwowski) Age 74, on Saturday, January 23, 2016, of Baldwin .

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of 48 years to Melvin Switala; daughter of the late Michael and Victoria Karwowski; mother of Regis and Jill Switala, Christopher and Jenny Switala; grandmother of Brett, Carly, Leeza, and Luke; sister of Michael and Grace Karwowski, Ben and Cassie Karwowski, Joanne Colletti, Daniel and Lori Karwowski; sister-in-law of Claudia Duft, John and Linda McCann; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received Monday and Tuesday from noon until 8 pm at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, PA 15227. Funeral prayer on Wednesday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Albert the Great Church at 10. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Albert the Great Parish, 3198 Schieck Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15227, or Family Hospice & Palliative Care, 50 Moffett Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15243.
