Mayor, Arthur J., Jr. (1947 - 2016) Age 68, of Whitehall, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle against cancer. Son of the late Arthur J. Sr. and Maria Theresa (Gomez-Garcia) Mayor, Arthur was born on December 16, 1947. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Yvonne (Query) Mayor, his daughters Nicole (Jennifer) Mayor of Dallas, TX and Tina (Robert) Calla of Collier Township, and his granddaughters Morgan, Scarlet & Magenta Calla. Arthur is also survived by his sisters Carmen (David) Mader of Tarpon Springs, FL and Carol (Charles) McCowan of Jacksonville, FL, sisters-in-law Cecelia (the late Donald) McNeil of Chicago, IL, Marjorie (Paul) Winter, Linda (the late Richard) Marasco, Jacqueline Brnilovich of Pittsburgh and Michele Query (Alison Shore) of Springfield, VA. and brother-in-law Paul (Lisa) Query of Naples, FL. In addition to his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by his in-laws Albert and Margaret Query, sisters-in-law Annette Haughey and Patricia Vietmeier, and brother-in-law Alan Query. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, Pleasant Hills, at 10:00 am.
