Johnson, Audrey (Fogarty) Age 91, of Concordia of the South Hills in Mt. Lebanon, formerly of Jefferson Hills, died peacefully, on May 2, 2015, following a brief illness. Audrey was born on July 20, 1923, in Brentwood, the daughter of Michael Francis "Frank" and Dorothea (Green) Fogarty. She was the beloved wife of the late John F. "Jack" Johnson; mother of John Jr. (Patti Litman) Johnson, who lives on a sailboat called the Anhinga, Stephen (Tracey) Johnson, of Pittsburgh, Michael (Carolyn) Thomas of Lost Creek, WV and the late Donald (survived by Ruth) Johnson of Pleasant Hills; grandmother of John III (Alejandra), Douglas (Audrey), Benjamin (Anne), Samuel, Jacob and Adam Johnson and Christopher Thomas; great-grandmother of Sarah, Evan, Tristan, Madison and Abigail Johnson; sister of Ruth Rollins, of Sterling, VA and the late Emma Lou McKeeton and Lois Thomas; she was the mother-in-law of Alyce Verville Johnson. Audrey's life revolved around her faith and her family. She was a faithful Christian who devoted much time to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Whitehall, where she was a charter member, active as a Sunday School teacher and was a member of the Altar Guild for many years. Friends will be received at the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, 15227, on Tuesday, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of South Hills, 418 Maxwell Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. Everyone please meet at church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Good Samaritan Fund, 134 Marwood Rd., Cabot, PA 16023.
