Barbara E. Campbell (Ecoff), age 70, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 20, 2025 of Baldwin Boro. A beautiful soul left this earth on the first day of Spring. Daughter of the late Everson and Rose (Romanus) Ecoff; wife of William J. Campbell; stepmother of Aimee Campbell; sister of E. James (the late Joan) Ecoff, Jacquelyn (the late Michael) Corcoran, Gregory (Jackie) Ecoff and Nancy (Jim) Jones. She was loved and cherished by so many, and fondly known as "Bobbie" to her cousins and "Aunt Bobbie" to many nieces and nephews. She made everyone feel special and loved. She was and is an angel. Goodbye Barb. You were loved and will be missed.
Funeral services were held lovingly and privately by the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, PA 15227.

Bobbie will always be a shining star in our lives. How often we walked back and forth to each other's homes without considering the distance and then sheepishly asked our moms if we could do an overnight stay. We had so much fun back then. I wish we had spent more time reminiscing about that instead of world events. But we shared the heartiest laughs over Ada's antics. She's telling our family in heaven all about these great-grandchildren of theirs. Pray for us down here, Aunt Bobbie, until we meet again! Will miss you always! Bev

I was never really popular until my Aunt Bobbie started cutting my hair short. From that point on, people would stop me at the store and ask "who cuts your hair?" which I would proudly answer, "my Aunt Bobbie." Once my daughter was born, I knew exactly where we could go for our first haircut because I wanted her to have the relationship I had with my aunt. And so a tradition began where we would both get our haircuts, and Ada would ride the chairlift from the basement to the kitchen as her treat for sitting still. I will miss this dearly. Our haircuts weren't about haircuts. It was about spending time together and catching up together and telling stories together. I passed a dozen hair salons on my way to Aunt Bobbie's house. None of them could ever replace what we had. We love you Aunt Bobbie!

Bobbie...You will be in always in my heart and your laughter and gentle touch as you did my hair and always had a kind word for me. When we had time together it always seemed liked our family roots came alive and we grew closer together thru those memories.. I know you are forever with our whole family....Love you ....

Barbara became a very dear friend over the last few years. We shared the worst of times and the best. She was a really amazing person who cared deeply about her friends and family. Heaven has a new resident who will be watching over all of us. I will be eternally grateful for getting to have her in my life. We will never forget this unique and special soul.

Barb's love and spirit will carry on with those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace in the arms of Jesus and dance with those who preceded her. The Angels are rejoicing to receive her loving spirit. Our deepest sympathy and love to Willie and all Barb's family. Charlie and Alice Tisdell

Aunt Bobbie was one of the most loving, generous, accepting, and fun people I have had the privilege to know. She was my "fun aunt" and a bonus mom. Every Wednesday was known in our house as "Aunt Bobbie day," when she would come and take us out for the best day of the week. Whether we went to the mall, the movies, her house, or the park, our time together was always filled with joy (especially when she snuck us into movies our parents thought we were too young for). She was the one who lovingly did my hair and makeup for dance recitals, gave me advice and dyed my hair red as a teen, and cheered me on as an adult. It was truly a gift to have known and loved her. I will miss her more than words can express.
