Age 73, of Baldwin Boro, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, January 23, 2022. Beloved husband of 53 years to Margaret E. (Kappler) Baker; loving father of Richard A. (Tina) Baker, James A. (Lety) Baker and the late Michael T. (survived by Tammy) Baker; Pap of Steven, Katie, Michael, Jr., Melissa and Victoria; son of the late Bernard F., Sr. and Joan Baker; brother of Maryann, Joan, Richard and Debra. Bernie served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. He worked for (Bell of PA) Verizon until his retirement and for Asbury Heights Retirement Village. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Wednesday at 9:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Albert the Great Church at 10:30.
