Bruchwalski, Bernard W. Age 88, peacefully on Friday, July 17, 2015, of Carrick.

Beloved husband of 62 years to the late Helen V.; loving father of Karole A. (John Schmitt), William B. (Deborah) and Ron B. (Marybeth); proud grandfather of Kimberly, Eric, Moria, Josh, Zach and Danielle; survived by great and great-great grandchildren; brother of Bernice Welsch, John Bruchwalski, Justina Baron and the late Anna Mae Bruchwalski. Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Bernie served his country in WWII in the US Navy and was a longtime employee of Thorofare and Giant Eagle. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Wednesday, 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral Prayer on Thursday morning at 9:15 am. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Norbert Church at 10:00 am.
