We know the last many months have been extremely hard on the family but losing a lady as fine as Bernie is the hardest. We have lived next door to Bernie and John for 44 years and could not have chosen better neighbors. Bernie always had a compliment, never a criticism. Her cooking and baking were pretty good too! Our hearts go out to John, Debbie, Mike and Johnny and their families for their loss of this wonderful woman. We will definitely miss her comments, her wit and her presence. This is a sad time in all our lives.

Mr. Escajeda, Debbie, Johnny and Families, I am truly heart broken and saddened by her passing. Mrs. Escajeda was such a sweet, and loving lady. My daughter Neela, was sad and shocked when I told her. Please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers, sending you hugs from Canada.
