Age 73, on Thursday, June 30, 2022, of Clairton.

Wife of the late Armand Martin; mother of Michael C. Loveday and Bruce L. Loveday; grandmother of Bailey Lynn Loveday; great-grandmother of Brian Joseph Berry; daughter of the late Peter C. and Eva B. Battaglia; sister of Maryann Porter, Judy Henry, Peter C. Battaglia and the late Patricia Waleko. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, July 10, 2022 from 4-7 p.m.

    Michael and Bruce, I just found out about your mother's passing... and I am so sorry to have learned so late. I met your mom while we were in the photography program at the Art Institute. We hit it off rather quickly and managed to get together socially for a while after that. She always had a smile for me whenever we got together. She was so warm and easy to get along with. She has been in my prayers these last few days and I will light a candle for her. You have my heartfelt sympathy...

    Dang! This is crazy! Rest up , Betsy! You were definitely A wild, crazy, loving , carefree spirit. She was one of a kind, and a lot of people, even her own family took her for granted. She just wanted to set the truth free, and that she did.. well, kind of. She tried to anyways. Thank you ! I'll appreciate the times we've spent together!
