Obituary For Brian E. Denk

Age 54, on Thursday, December 12, 2024 of West Deer.

Brian is the son of the late Donald J. and Virginia. He is survived by siblings, friends and his loving Arc Human Services family. He had a passion for Go Karts and will be missed. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood 15227 on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 12-4 p.m. Funeral Service and burial will be held privately.

    Brian Mechling

    Brian was my very first friend I ever worked with as I started my career in human services back in 2010.. It didn't take long to realize that Brian was a pretty unique character, in a good way. Brian had an uncanny ability to make you laugh, especially if you were stressed, almost like he adapted at times to put you closer to your comfort zone. He most certainly had the heart of a child. Innocent, naive, beautiful. It maybe cliche to say that he won't be forgotten, but he left an indelible impression on all who knew him. So, at the risk of sounding cliche, I can say with absolute certainty, that he literally will not be forgotten. Rest well B... -Brian Mechling

    Brian became my friend some 22 years ago. Brian had a tremendous talent crafting anything you could imagine from wood. He loved going out and meeting and making friends. Brian had an incredible sense of humor. Once you became his friend he would never forget you. Rest in peace B...I love you.
