Just happened upon Carol's Facebook page and was excited to send her a message, then saw that she had just passed 2 months sooner. I am so sad that I didn't get a chance to get back in touch with her sooner. My very deepest sympathy to her family and friends. I knew her from Bell Telephone. She was such a great and really nice person and such a fighter for all of us. May she rest in eternal peace with Our Father. Mary Machesky Uniontown Office

My dear treasured friend, Carol. Where have you gone? We had such wonderful times together in life. From the day I met you at Bell Telephone, through Bell Atlantic, Verizon, union events and lines walked ... you were a spark that just attracted long friendships and fun moments in life. We had many! I have over 45 years of memories. We were to walk Stanwix Street arm in arm, like the little ladies we would see at lunch walking to St. Mary's Church. We would say, "there we are in our old age". They were the best days. Your unmatched loyalty and love of family is to be admired. Your family was number one, as it should be for all of us. As you loved them, they loved you, as is a testament to their care of you in these last years. You are with Rosie, Leo, and Gerry now, but Bernadette, Ron, George, Emily, David, Kim, Tim and little Bruno will be missing you, like me and so many others. May God Bless You and give you eternal peace until we meet you again at those heavenly gates. I will so deeply miss you my dear friend, Carol. Zbogum in naj Angeli cuvajo! My heartfelt sympathy to Bernadette, Ron and the entire family.
