Obituary For Carol M. (Eisel) Kochanski

February 25, 1960 - May 23, 2015

Kochanski, Carol M. (Eisel) Age 55, suddenly on Saturday, May 23, 2015, of Arlington.

Loving mother of Darrell (Nikki), Cortney (Denny Eggerton), and Caitey (Jesse) Hutton; proud grandmother of Jesse Lee Hutton, Jr. and Hayslee Kochanski; daughter of Lois Seddon and the late Ray Seddon and Ray Eisel; sister of Susan (Bill) Zain and Lois Eisel; very dear friend of Timothy Keeney; former wife of Darrell Kochanski. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and loving friends. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, on Tuesday from 2-8 pm where a Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday at 11 am.

    Even though I haven't seen Carol in many years, we were very close cousins growing up. We often played together and stayed at each other's homes. We used to stay with our Grandmother "Marie" on many a weekend. Our parents dressed us alike sometimes and we had the same "pixie" haircut. We were the same age, but unfortunately, as we grew up we grew apart. One great memory that I have was on an Easter Sunday when everyone was visiting my Grandmother Marie, Carol and I went next door to her house and broke every single dyed easter egg (6 dozen). We had a really good time doing that and Lois (Carol's sister) got in trouble for it. So many summers going swimming at The Fort, picnics in the yard with our entire family, funerals and weddings, Carol and I were always together. I was sad to hear the news of her passing away so young. I am praying for her family at this time, especially, her mother, my Aunt Orangie. You are in my prayers and thoughts. God bless you Carol.
