Saffer, Catherine Theresa (Coyne) Age 84, on Friday, May 22, 2015, of Pleasant Hills, formerly of Baldwin.

Beloved wife of 56 years to Fred Saffer; loving mother of Bryan (Kathy), Dan (Arlene), Ken (Laura), and the late Tom Saffer and Donna Urbanowicz; mother-in-law of E.J. Urbanowicz and Sue Saffer; proud grandmother of Amanda (Andy), Matthew, Jared, Nathan, Jenna, Nicholas, Kaitlyn, Colan, Lindsay and Madelyn; great-grandmother of Lilian; daughter of the late Patrick and Margaret Coyne; sister of the late Margie Baluh. Cathy will be both deeply and sadly missed by all who knew her. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood 15227, Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:00.
