Schuler, Clara M. (Diehl) Age 86, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 25, 2015, of Castle Shannon.

She was the loving wife for 65 years to the late Casimir Leo Schuler; the most incredible mother to Christine Buffkin, Cheryl K. Schuler, Cassy Phillips and Mary Lou Schuler-Karr; grandmother of Dan and Chad Brandt; daughter of the late Alvin and Clara Diehl; sister of Sylvia Manzella, Shirley Bridge, and the late Norbert Diehl, Betty Slebrich and Mae Simon. Clara devoted her life to raising her daughters and being a grandma. She worked for many years for American Greetings and won an award for distinguished service for her many dedicated years. Besides her husband and children, her passion was playing bingo. She had an incredibly kind heart and a great sense of humor. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Wednesday from 6-8 p.m and Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Friday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Winifred Church at 10:00 am.
