Obituary For Claudia Jean Duft

September 9, 1937 - January 19, 2018

Duft, Claudia Jean (Switala) Age 80, on Friday, January 19, 2018, of Bethel Park.

Beloved wife of the late Samuel J.; loving mother of Jennifer (David Nejus) DeAugustine, Eric (Jennifer) Duft and Heather (Michael) Costello; proud grandmother of Josh and Nick DeAugustine, Alexis and Ethan Duff and Samuel and Abigail Costello; great-grandmother of Luca and Harlyn (mother, Erica Moan); sister of Melvin (the late Toni) Switala and Linda (the late John) McCann. Also survived by her beloved friend Tom Ord and loving nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday from 2-8 p.m.. Funeral Prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Germaine Church at 10 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

    Please accept my condolences on the passing of Claudia. I worked with her. Claudia was a very wonderful lady who will be sadly missed.
