I'm sure gonna miss you my dear, sweet friend! Although we didn't serve together, we were Navy sisters and just had that bond! Who knew being your Avon lady would turn us into such great friends! Rest peacefully now and give my girl a hug for me when you see her! 💕 I love you, gf! My most heartfelt condolences to Kathy and Ted!

Cynthia and I were fellow Staff Assistants at NETL. She always had a great attitude no matter what her health challenges were. She always had an extra pair of shoes in her office. My prayers go out to her family in their time of grief. Rest in Peace.

Cynthia and I never met as I work at the NETL site in Albany, OR and she worked in Pittsburgh -- for many years we were the admin support team for the Materials Engineering and Manufacturing Team. As Veterans we just naturally became a long-distance team covering MEM on both sides of the country as that is what former military brothers and sisters do. Only Veterans can truly understand the unique and caring bond that can be formed among former service members. She used to give me a bad time about being a "sand peep" and shallow water sailor as she was Navy and I was Coast Guard. She will be missed.

Cyndie will be missed by her many BHS classmates. We have been sharing memories from, St.E's, her time as a Highland dancer, her beautiful nature photography, and her Navy service. Most of all though her spirit and inspiration will be missed but yet enduring. Clare (Puskar) Flaisch

I worked with Cynthia for several years at NETL where she was a Directorate Staff Assistant, and I always enjoyed her positive perspective on just about everything. We have been greatly saddened by her loss.
