Obituary For Daniel T. Smaglo

Of Baldwin Township, formerly of Oakland.

Loving husband of the late Rosann M. Smaglo; father of Daniel J., Darryl R. and Devin M. Smaglo; grandfather of Paige and Gavin; son of the late Irene J. and Leo Smaglo; brother of Teresa Newton, Mary Ann McHarg, Margorie (Dan) Sesky and the late Felicia, Leon and Michael. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Dan retired from the Port Authority after 25 years of service. He then worked for the Duquesne Club for over 15 years. Dan loved spending time outdoors, often going up to his cottage in Centerville, PA, hunting, fishing and enjoying Iron City. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, June 11, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m.
