Beloved son of the late Antonio and Vincenza (Scarlatelli) Pacella; brother of Eleanor (the late Albert) Angotti, and the late Mary (Cecil) DeMutis and Orlando (Mary) Pacella; beloved uncle of Ronald (Pat) DeMutis, Diane Boyles, Patricia Pacella, Tina (Anthony) Mazza, Rita (David) Paiani and the late Cecil DeMutis; beloved great-uncle of Jennifer (Craig) Tupper, Julie (Daniel) McVicker, Danyel (Adam) Morgan, Chad Boyles, Carla (Michael) Chianelli, Gino Mazza, Nicole (Johnny) Rodriquez, Anthony (Amy) DellaPiazza, Angela (Thomas) Wellman, II and Christa (Ryan) Unik; beloved great-great uncle of Shalyn, Malea and Brielle Tupper, Gianna Krivanek and Vince McVicker, Serafina Morgan, Logan Boyles, Gianna and Valentina Chianelli, Dominic Mazza, Dominic and Dante DellaPiazza and Milanna Unik. Danny was proud to be an Army Veteran who served during the Korean War. In addition, he was a member of the American Legion National Headquarters. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Sunday, August 13, 2017, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Monday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostles Parish in St. Basil Church at 10:30 am.
