Surdick, David E. Age 74, of Carrick, died Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at Kane Scott Regional Center.

Son of the late Edward and Anne Surdick; brother of Lois (Charles) Keefer, Janice (Joe) Hanych and Kenneth (Linda) Surdick. David is survived by many nieces and nephews, and will be greatly missed by all. David was a disabled veteran and had served in the Army. Dave loved to talk about cars, and knew all the models. He liked to watch trains go by and he enjoyed being with his family. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Friday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Norbert Church at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Disabled American Veterans, 1000 Liberty Avenue, Room 1606, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
