Obituary For David R. Linz

May 25, 1946 - June 30, 2018

Linz, David R. Age 72, on Saturday, June 30, 2018, of Baldwin Boro.

Married for 50 years to his recently departed beloved wife, Nancy Ann. They were only separated three weeks until God called him home to be at peace and reunite him with the love of his life. Loving father of Michele (Sean) Hayes and David A. Linz; proud pap-pap of Lexie and Mateo Hayes. David honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam. He also was a long-time active parishoner of St. Albert the Great. David was at his happiest spending time with his family and will also be greatly missed by his grand-dog, Kobe. As a true "yinzer", his passion was the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday from 4-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostles Parish, St. Albert the Great Church at 10:30 a.m.

    I'm happy that Nancy and Dave will be together, but sad for their children David and Michele that they have lost their parents within such a short span of time. I hope that David and Michele will have many happy family memories to comfort them at this time, and that they will experience the peace that passes all understanding.
