Obituary For Deborah R. (McNeill) O'Hara

Age 71, of Brentwood, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.

Beloved wife of 50 years to David E. O'Hara; loving mother of Devette M. (Chris Sturm) O'Hara and Dale M. (Christine Kizina) O'Hara; proud Grandma of Dale (Mikey), Devan (Brandon), Tyler, Jarren, Shawnie, and Jayden and three great-grandchildren, Greyson, Cody and Forest; daughter of the late John and Viola McNeill; sister of Judith, John "Bucky", Ronald, Donald, Patricia and the late Linda. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Deborah served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam Era, she was trained as a Medic. After discharge, she became a nurse for over 30 years until her retirement. She devoted her life to her family but especially her grandchildren. Debbie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held on Wednesday at noon. Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with full military honors.
