Obituary For Dennis R. Bidden

December 24, 1941 - March 31, 2015

Bidden, Dennis R. On Tuesday, March 31, 2015, of Baldwin Boro.

Beloved husband of Mildred "Millie" Bidden (Schaum); son of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Rink) Bidden; loving brother of Shirley (Bill) Hofen; brother-in-law of Dolores "Dolly" (Robert) Meyer; also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to St. Paul of the Cross Monastery, 148 Monastery Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.

    im going to miss my mornining telephone calls from my buddy,Denny to check up on me .after retireing 26 years ago ,he still up with the former workers, from J&R.we enjoyed a trip to ALASKA several years ago ,with our wives, he made it a lot more fun

    Ah...the very fond Christmas Eve memories comming rushing back in my head! At 14 Grape Street celebrating both Jesus' and Den's B-Days...Uncle Den laughing and joking around...Aunt Millie handing out presents and preparing food with my mum and gram...WONDERFUL MEMORIES! Uncle Den is now in heaven - trolling the MAIN intenet for funny emails!!! Ah heaven! Nephew Kevin Hafen
