Brad was just talking about "Dausch" today and I had to look her up to see if she was still on earth. What can we say about "Dausch"? She was a life long friend of the Stegon's and came faithfully to pattern Brad when he was young. So many memories of her, from hanging out at the pool, to letting me live with them when my parents moved to Colorado. Di came and visited one year- what a treat! Last time we talked was after my parents, Faith and Andrew, died in Dec of 2017. It was a wonderful talk- filled with sadness but also laughter of the memories of life in Baldwin. Sorry Tim and Tod for your loss- she was a wonderful lady and one who is talked about quite often by Brad- Dausch made an impact on him - and me too- HUGS - Lynn Stegon Snell

"Aunt Diane" was the first cousin of my father, Blair Kramer. When my dad passed away (aged 45) in 1976, Diane became a fixture in our home. My mom was left with a young son at home, two older sons, one away at college (me) and the other working several hours away. Diane was a rock for our family and knowing that she was always there for my mom let me sleep at night. As Karyn noted above, Diane would give you the shirt off her back, she was also quick with a swift kick in rear-end depending on what the circumstances called for - she was quintessentially a Pittsburgher through and through!

I practically grew up in Di's home. The Dausch family lived right down the street. Overnight stays as kids with Tim and Tod with Di making us pancakes for breakfast. We both shared the love of gardening. I remember her growing her tomato plants in her back porch window. Di would give you the shirt off her back. She was a generous and caring lady. We had more than our share of laughs over our lifetimes. I will keep all the good memories close to my heart. My deepest sympathy to Tim and Tod along with their families. Rest in peace, Di . Heaven has gained a very lively angel ! Love you, Di. I will miss you very much. Karyn ( Apel ) Hyland

One of the most beautiful people in and out that I have had the privilege to know. What a kind, loving and wonderful woman. You will be missed my friend. God speed Di. I love you.

I remember Di always smiling and happy. She was a wonderful woman who worked with my husband. I enjoyed attending the monthly retiree breakfast before COVID and she was kind and friendly. My husband thought very highly of Di and I know he will enjoy seeing another friend in heaven. May God grace you with peace and only good memories. Love, Alice Collar

Di was a wonderful woman who truly loved everyone she met. She always had a smile and a kind word. Di worked at Peters Township High School with my dad, and I had the pleasure of knowing her while I attended high school. Di made high school more bearable and I fondly remember she loved to build puzzles and play the lottery. One year my dad and mom were splitting the Hosta's in our yard and Di learned of this great yard fun. She drove to our house and was absolutely thrilled with her Hosta Haul. Daddy and I helped to load them into her car and she was smiling from ear to ear. Di was a special woman who will always be remembered fondly and with love. May the Lord comfort you today as you mourn the loss of your mother and may the days ahead you remember that your mom was a blessing to everyone she met. Tracy, Peter, & Mikayla (Collar)Mirich
