Tom and Kristen, I have so many wonderful memories of Mrs. Fleet. From spelling bee practice, helping spring clean over summer breaks and celebrating victories of her stellar coaching when she consistently had students win the Pgh Post Gazette Spelling Bee. She sparked in me a love of language and communication over those years in middle school. Thank you for sharing her with my fellow spelling bee teammates and me. She will be missed. Praying for you all. Maura Caligiuri Derstein

Dear Tom, Kristen,Ella and Family, we are so sorry. Mrs Fleet was such a kind caring person!! Always giving and bringing people together with her great gatherings 👍♥️I remember the one time we won a dinner with her from a school fundraiser, so Ava had to pick one friend and she did not want to hurt the other two friends feelings so we ask if we could bring the other two and we would pay the difference and she ended up letting her and she payed for it!! She went above and beyond for the school !!! Always giving and caring ♥️I am sure she has a special place in Heaven !!!😇We will really miss her 😢Love Nancy, Terry , Katarina and Ava McCaffrey ♥️

I taught at St. Clare School with Diane; it was her first year of teaching. Diane loved teaching and made her lessons fun for her students. Diane had a great sense of humor and I can still hear her laughing after all these years. She spoke often of Tommy and Kristen: how she loved her family. Her students were very lucky to have such a dedicated teacher! May God comfort all who love and mourn for Diane. May her memory be Eternal.

Sending Tom and Kristen all my love and a couple of my favorite quotes to remember her by : "... that's great, but now my mushrooms need earmuffs." "Take this back and kill it. It's still moo-ing." Dining with Diane was always an experience worth remembering and she'll always be making me laugh. She's never gone as long as we remember her.

Mrs. Fleet was my 4th/5th grade English and Geography teacher! I always remembered her for all the News Scholastics she'd get for us with random world facts on them. I probably know a handful of state bird of places I've never visited thanks to her! She had a genuine spirit and an truly authentic laugh. My time at CCC/St. Clare of Assisi wouldn't have been the same without her!
