Dolores was one of our beloved neighborhood,"Pearce Road Moms"(Zaida, Gerry, Jackie, Helen, Betty, Ruth, Angie, Millie, Annamae, Florence, Mrs. Tomich, Mrs Bragano, Mrs Snyder & all... somehow we felt nurtured by all of them...they all looked out for us & watched us grow, ride our bikes...OMG-we played in the street! Each mom was/is special & a big part in our growing up- we didn't realize it then. Dolores had a sweet smile & a little giggle & I loved how she always called my sister,"Annie." She was a great cook & the first "Memaw" I ever knew-BTW-I'm the second!!! I mourn today along with all those who loved Dolores...and remember a simpler time that brings a tear to our eye. I'm so happy for her because I know that George & Kerri Ann as well as Gram came to greet her. She's happy & free & will continue to watch over her family- it wouldn't be heaven if a mother/Memaw was separated from those she loved...so look for the signs & behave..she's still one of our neighborhood moms!!! <3

To the Family I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Dolores. Dolores always treated Christy as her own and always made Christy and me feel as we were part of the family. Christy always thought of Dolores as her second mom and Rusty, Dennis, Greg, Michael, Phillip and Patty as her brothers and sister. All of you have a special place in my heart. My deepest sympathy to the family.
