October 3, 1930 - September 10, 2018

Farah, Dolores L. "Sitto" "Dee", age 87, peacefully at home, surrounded by her children, on Monday, September 10, 2018 of Brentwood. Beloved wife of 61 years to the late Ferrill N. "Giddo" Farah; loving mother of Donna Lee, Namy G., Johno (Debbie), Cheryl (Ron) Sikora, Brian N. (Mary Ann), James M., Rachel "The Runt" (Steve) Thomas; cherished grandmother of Melynda Farah, Justin (Jennifer) Farah, John Ferrill (Kaila) Farah, Jessie (Jeff) Bachner, Jimmy (Helena) Sikora, Stephen Sikora, Tate Farah, Brittany (Chris) Wiegold, Stephanie Thomas, Ian Thomas and the late Andy Farah; proud great-grandmother of Autumn, Kelly, Dean (Kayli), Jocelyn, Emily, Jordan and Jada; great-great-grandmother of Ryker. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Trisagon services will be held on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. Funeral service on Thursday morning in St. George Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, (Oakland) at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Alzheimer's Association - Greater Pennsylvania Chapter, 1100 Liberty Ave., Suite E-201, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
