Obituary For Dominic A. Evangelista

October 17, 1944 - February 25, 2017

Evangelista, Dominic A. Age 72, on Saturday, February 25, 2017, of Whitehall.

Beloved husband of 52 years to Barbara Evangelista; loving father of Eric (Dianne) Evangelista and Anthony (Janet) Evangelista; devoted grandfather of David, Nicolas, Nikki and Michael; son of the late Rose and Dominic A. Evangelista, Sr.; brother of Annette (John) Czerneski; brother-in-law of James (Andrea) Conteen; loving uncle of Jeffrey, Scott, Vincent, Carissa, Matt and Valerie. Dominic was very active in the Whitehall Borough Planning Commission. He enjoyed spending time with his family, was an avid golfer and NASCAR fan. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday, February 27, 2017, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gabriel of The Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
