Obituary For Donald F. Steigerwald

May 7, 1933 - August 31, 2016

Steigerwald, Donald F. Age 83, on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, of Whitehall .

Beloved husband of 57 years to Joan (Bicker); loving father of Stacy (Kevin) Maehling and the late Scott Steigerwald; proud Pap Pap of Kiera Maehling; brother of Jeannine (the late Frank) Bachner and the late Norman (survived by Bernadette) Steigerwald; also survived by nieces and nephews. Don had been an active volunteer for Whitehall Fire Company for 50 years. He was a United States Marine who served during the Korean War and was also a longtime member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church where he held various offices. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, on Monday from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Service on Tuesday morning at 11:30 in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.
