June 15, 1956 - January 6, 2014

White, Donald J.

Age 57, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Monday, January 6, 2014, of Brentwood .

Beloved son of Dolores (Singer) and the late Donald F. "Red"; loving brother of Kathleen (the late Ken) Mace, Christine (Michael Havel) White, Kevin (Sue Tomko), and Janette White; proud uncle of Brett and Kaleigh Mace, Nicholas Grunebach, Sarah Peifer, and Mya White. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Don was an employee of Sears, Benson-Lincoln and Tom Clark. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday from 2:00 pm until the time of the Blessing Service at 8:30 pm. Interment will be private. If desired, family suggests contributions to National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, PO Box 1848, Longmont, CO 80502 .

    My heart goes out to the whole family. I truly loved Don and so did my husband, Harry. He was my next door neighbor on Seton Street and was one of the best people that I've known. He came to my wedding in 8/12 and had a wonderful time. I will never forget him and now we have a friend in Heaven.
