Obituary For Donna P. Grabowsky

March 16, 1950 - December 19, 2015

Grabowsky, Donna Patricia (Plantz) Age 65, peacefully on December 19, 2015 after a long, courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma, of Whitehall, formerly of South Side.

Beloved wife of 44 yrs. to Ralph E. Grabowsky; loving mother of Eric Grabowsky; devoted daughter of the late John and Frances Plantz; cherished sister of Jerry Plantz, Barbara (the late Joe) Bernatowicz and Janet (Mike) Tulenko; sister-in-law of Barbara (the late George) Skriba; aunt of Tamara (Tom) Skriba Guio, Mark Bernatowicz, Lynn (Casey) Hayes, Michael Tulenko and Michelle (Bob) Domain and their families. Also survived by numerous cousins and many loving friends. Donna was a positive influence to all who crossed her path. A special thanks to everyone at both UPMC Shadyside Hospital and Hillman Cancer Center for their compassionate care. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, on Tuesday from 2-8 pm. Funeral Prayer on Wednesday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin School Fund, 5200 Greenridge Dr., Pgh., PA 15236.
