Carpenter, Dorothy J. (Vanlandingham) Age 81, of Las Vegas, NV, formerly of Uptown Pittsburgh, on Monday, April 20, 2015.

Mother of Carol Ann (Clifford) Klinkhammer, Deborah (Sam) Sidoti, Theresa Araiza, Dorothy Jordan, Edward J. (Kellie) Sachetti, Jr., Robert Sachetti and William H. (Graziola) Sachetti; daughter of the late William H. Vanlandingham and Stella McConnell; sister of James H. Vanlandingham and the late William H. Vanlandingham, Elizabeth McCaffrey and Vera Faccenda; grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 11. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Dorothy retired from Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home after 27 years as a secretary. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood 15227, Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Blessing Service officiated by Fr. O'Connor, will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Monday at Noon. Everyone please meet at the cemetery.
