Obituary For Dorothy Louise Rigatti

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother & Grandmother, Dorothy Rigatti, affectionately known to all as ‘Nan' at age 100, of Baldwin, on July 3, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Edmund Rigatti; loving mother of Marta (John) Ruggeri, Leslie "Dee" (Jeff) Miklas, Randy (Elaine) Rigatti, and the late Terry (Vickie) Rigatti; Nan of Justin, Nikki, Jonathan, Mandi, Quinn, Alicia, Dave, RJ, and Riss; great-grandmother of 19; sister of the late Jean, John, Ray, Dick, and Sis. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Nan's remarkable life was a vibrant tapestry woven with dedication, adventure, and unwavering love. Her quick wit, spirited personality, and impeccable style were hallmarks of a woman who brought joy and laughter to all. Alongside her beloved 'Pap,' she reveled in travel, exploring the world with an open heart and embracing every new experience. A devout Catholic and active member of the Legion of Mary, Nan found profound strength and solace in her faith. As the beloved Matriarch of her family, she leaves behind a legacy of strength, poise, grace, and love that we will all cherish forever.

Friends will be received at the John F. To the Rigatti Family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. To describe your mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, in one word, CLASS. We enjoyed her and her family at our restaurant since we opened. Over the years we would run into her at a casino, and she always had her smile that would just light up the world. No matter where she was, she dressed impeccably. We are just so thankful to have known such a beautiful lady. Her smiling face will be missed but not forgotten. Dave, Dee, and the Calabria Family
