Obituary For Dorothy M. Fox

February 27, 1931 - September 7, 2018

Fox, Dorothy M. (Parise) Age 87, formerly of Knoxville, reunited with her beloved husband of 65 years, the late John C. "Bud" Fox, on Friday, September 7, 2018.

Loving mother of Kenneth (Sue), Keith (Crissy) and Gary (Rita) Fox and Holly (Joe) Kazmierczyk; grandmother of Stephanie (Marty), Jennifer (John), Paul, Brad (Nicole), Alexandra, John II and Gary, Jr.; great-grandmother of Maci, Mitchell, C.J., Mackenzie, Gianna, Emma and Gabriela; sister of Carol (the late Dick) Stump and the late Jean (the late Bob) Aug; also survived by two nieces and one nephew. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday, September 10, 2018, 2-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sylvester Church at 10:00 a.m.

    To Gary, Kenny, Keith and Holly - So sorry to hear about your mom. I have many, many good memories of my childhood of playing ball in the street (getting hollared at by Mrs Stein), football with you and Dave Belsterling, the spinner game of All-Star baseball with Gary (spent hours doing that), the pinball machine in your basement and many more!! Remember the sleep-outs on your front porch- I am better off now knowing your mom and dad were a part of my growing up. I hope your memories are as precious as mine. Praying for you at this time.
